Q: Where can I find further information on your published books?
A: Click on either of the covers above. Each has its own separate page with press clippings, links for purchasing, and in the case of Roo Kickkick & the Big Bad Blimp, some exclusive web content related to the book: an excerpt of the first chapter, special links to Cat Fancy and The Barguss Telegraph, as well as a live audio recording of one of my first readings in London.
Q: I just read Kung Fu High School and you are seriously the most messed up writer ever to actually make that stuff up. Are you sane? I'm worried about you.
—Tim, via e-mail.
A:
Well, Tim, far be it from me to discourage the widely held belief among journalists and readers alike that I sit around reading The Anarchist Cookbook prior to indulging in self-mutilation or the occasional street fight for cash, but I am bound by honor to report that I am indeed sane—whatever that may be by today's sliding standards. Worry not, good sir.
Q: Who is my favorite author? What is my favorite book? Which existing book do I most wish I had written?
A: I could tell you all those things, but I don't think Inspector Clouseau would approve. However, glimpsing a chunk of my library will not only allow one to take an educated guess as to the answers to those questions, but it can potentially show more about me, my interests, and where I gain inspiration for my writing than anything I could possibly say here. Thanks to LibraryThing, it's a reality. I have an official profile up over there now, but the 'my library' link below will take you directly to my virtual shelves. Scrolling over any of the covers below will bring up an Amazon information box if your browser is javascript enabled.
